What is a Flat Classroom?
The concept of a 'flat classroom' came originally from David Warlick (we think!). It is based on the constructivist principle of a multi-modal learning environment that is student-centered and a level playing field for teacher to student and student to teacher interaction.

The classroom was flattened because many barriers were broken down between kids across the United States. These kids were able to comment at a time convenient to them. Students were then allowed to see varying perspectives from around the world.

Certainly this format can be translated to other novels, but this would also work for debates or recreating famous court cases.
